This site promotes and seeks to deepen insight and discussion on the meaning of Jesus in Hindu contexts. It focuses on historical contributions to that discussion by posting the ruminations of pioneers of previous generations, complemented by some more current contributors.

Initial postings are biased towards the contributions of Rajendra Chandra (R. C.) Das of Banaras (1887-1976). Three autobiographical writings by Das are here; one his story of turning to Jesus in its 1911 version; a second rather rare account of the stops along the way in his life of witness to Hindus; finally, his lengthy autobiographical manuscript which to this point has only been available in a few libraries.

Das edited (and was primary writer for) three journals, the full contents of which will be published here. Presently the third and last, The Church of Christ (1964-1973), is now accessible.
